ArcGIS Online (AGOL) allows to create maps authored by several members of a special Collaborative AGOL Group, which can only be created by our ArcGIS Online administrators. A collaborative group in ArcGIS Online allow its members to update all items in the group.
If your research group would like to collaboratively create interactive maps, you need to request a collaborative group. Please send us an e-mail with the following information:
Once the group is created, the owner will be able to invite other Yale University ArcGIS Online members to the group.
The collaborative AGOL groups only allow collaborators who are members of the Yale University ArcGIS Online. If you have a project that requires non-Yale collaborators who actually need to edit the content of your maps, please send a note with the details to submit for approval and obtain guest accounts for them.
