	Browse books online If the book is out of copyright, or the publisher has given us permission, you'll be able to see a preview of the book, and in some cases the entire text. If it's in the public domain, you're free to download a PDF copy. Learn more about the different views.
	Learn more -- fast We've created reference pages for every book so you can quickly find all kinds of relevant information: book reviews, web references, maps and more. See an example.
	Buy the book ... or borrow it from the library. If you find a book you like, click on the "Buy this book" and "Borrow this book" links to see where you can buy or borrow the print book. You can now also buy the ebook from the Google eBookstore.
	Where do the books come from? Currently, we are connecting readers with books in two ways: the Partner Program and the Library Project.

Using Google Books

Searching Google Books

The Basic Search screen of Google Book Search is similar in design and functionality to Google's familiar Web search interface.

Simply enter keywords related to the book(s) you are searching for (such as author, title, subject, ISBN, etc.) and click on "Search Books."

Advanced Book Search

The Advanced Search screen for Google Book Search provides researchers with an easy way to expand or limit search terms, define the scope of a search, narrow a search to particular fields or select the number of results to be displayed.

Google Bookshelves

Sign in with your Google Account to create and manage personal bookshelves, share books with friends, and see what they are reading.

NOTE:

Remember - You will not be able to fully access all books on Google Books. The different viewing levels are:

They have "Full View" (the full text) for books that are no longer under copyright.
"Limited Preview" allows a sample view of a few pages at the publishers permission.
A "Snippet View" shows a few sentences at a time.
Lastly, "No Preview" only shows the information about the book.
