Latin American Government Documents

U.S. Dept. of State - Decimal Files

Yale University Library has hundreds of microfilms of Dept. of State communications concerning Latin America.  They include instructions to and despatches from diplomatic and consular officials, notes between Department of State and foreign diplomatic and consular representatives in the U.S., memorandums prepared by officials of the department and correspondence with officials of other government departments and with private firms and persons from 1806-1963.

Use the Intergovernmental Organization Search Engine (a Google custom search) to search across hundreds of IGO websites:

NGO search engine

Use the Non-governmental Organization Search Engine to search across NGO websites. Sites were chosen based on their consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and also collated from University of Minnesota Human Rights Library, Duke University Libraries' NGO Research Guide, and the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (WANGO).
