Using Write-N-Cite to Format a Bibliography
- You must first save a copy of your paper.
- If you do not have RefWorks Write-N-Cite open, start Write-N-Cite from within Word.
- In Write-N-Cite select Bibliography.
- Select the desired "Output Style" from the drop down list and click on Create Bibliography.
- Save this new document with a new name.
- If you later decide to edit your Word document, make changes to the first saved document (the unformatted paper with no bibliography).
Formatting a Bibliography Without Write-N-Cite
- Open your RefWorks library. Select Bibliography from the top level menu.
- Choose the appropriate Output Style from the drop-down list.
- Check Format Paper and Bibliography.
- Enter the location and file name of the saved Word document to be formatted.
- Click Create Bibliography.
