Using Statistics

StatLab

The Social Science Statistical Laboratory (StatLab) is part of the Center for Science and Social Science Information (CSSSI) located in the concourse leve of Kline Biology Tower, 219 Prospect Street.

The StatLab serves as a statistical information center for research and quantitative analysis.  We provide in-depth consulting for statistical software, quantitative methods, Social Science data resources, geospatial resources and analysis, and technical developments.  More than 60 workstations and servers, and over 20 software packages serve interdisciplinary needs for statistical computing.

StatLab Consultants work in a question-and-answer mode to help people with particular questions that come up in their research or classroom activities using statistical software and statistical methodologies.
