Navigating with the tabs above, you will find information and resources that are geared specifically to medical education. Click on the Journals and Books tab to find lists of books and journals that focus on education in the health sciences at all levels as well as educational scholarship. The Educational Scholarship tab contains a list of bibliographic databases as well as search tips for conducting literature searches on the topic. Information about our consultation services, including Systematic Review collaborations, can also be found here. Under Teaching Support, you will find a suite of services provided by the Medical Library to support and augment your teaching. Links to Yale centers that focus on improving teaching and learning on campus can also be found here. The Organizations tab contains a brief list of organizations of educators worldwide whose primary focus is cultivating excellence in teaching and learning in the health sciences.
What do we do?
In our roles as Curriculum Services Librarian, Education Services Librarian, and Instructional Design Librarian, we are deeply committed to all aspects of teaching and learning. Specifically we are responsible for the Library’s education program, supporting the medical curriculum, supporting educational scholarship as well as developing electronic and print collections to support educators.
