Physics: (e)Books

This guide contains information about data (including for particle reference), databases, and book materials of particular interest to students and researchers in physics and astrophysics.

What if we don't have it?

First, visit our Get It @Yale page to familiarize yourself with our services.

If we do not have access to a resource, use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. It comes at no cost to you, and it is great for journal articles, dissertations, and hard-to-find items.

We also have a service called Borrow Direct, which is useful for physical books and other items. During the pandemic, that service is on hold until we have 4 libraries in the consortium that are prepared to restart inter-institutional borrowing.

Course of Theoretical Physics

Not in our e-access: The first and second volumes of of Statistical Physics. I am also investigating a problem with the volume of Fluid Mechanics.

Please email me or use the Schedule Appointment button. In-person and virtual (Zoom) appointments are both possible. Please note that Science Hill is a 15-minute walk from central campus, and there is a temporary entrance due to construction.

My default ONSITE days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. During the semester (not during breaks!), I am onsite on Thursdays. I am OFFSITE most Mondays.
