Delegating Management for a Single Class

You can delegate the ability to add, remove, and manage reserves for a single class. This can be used to give your designates the ability to upload materials to the class. Please keep in mind that your designate needs to be a member of the Yale community with an active NetID.

  1. Use the "course reserves" tool from Classes*v2 to access the course you wish to delegate
  2. Hover over the "class tools" menu option on the top bar
  3. Select "administrators for this class"
  4. Type the NetID of the person to whom you wish to delegate access into the box. Note that if this person has never used course reserves before he or she must first sign into the class themselves through Classes*v2.
  5. Click "Add Proxy User"

The user now has the ability to manage reserves this class. If you wish to remove the user you may click the "Remove User" link next to their name on this same screen.

Delegating Management for All of Your Classes
