PRE-DEPARTURE PREP
Dear Student or Scholar,
If you are going to spend a period of study or research abroad, you may want to browse this guide first. It provides a wide range of practical information and country-specific resources, which will grow in time (and geographical scope) with input from various sources, including yours.p>
New destinations will be added regularly to reflect the full list of study-abroad courses offered by the Yale Summer Session (YSS). At the same time, students and scholars who plan to go, or have gone, to countries that are not represented by the YSS are encouraged to suggest pages dedicated to their destinations and areas of study or research.
More comprehensively, students and scholars are invited to suggest content pages in general. These can include resources (i.e., text, images, or links) that are specific to a particular region, country, city, course, research topic or practical issue.
The ultimate purpose of this guide is to become an interactive resource, to which students and scholars who go abroad can refer and contribute, or a content space they can visit (and re-visit) before, during and after their experience abroad.
Have a safe and resourceful trip!
