Databases (full-text & citation)

The following databases are important resources for finding secondary sources -- scholarly journal articles as well as book reviews, references to books, and citations to chapters in books:

Please note:  While JSTOR and Project Muse will always provide full-text of articles, the other databases will sometimes only provide citations to sources with a "YaleLinks" icon. If you see the "YaleLinks" icon instead of a PDF, click on the icon to discover whether we have online access to the article. We may have the article in print even if we do not have access to it online. Articles that are not part of the library's collection can be requested via Interlibrary Loan, which is part of the Get It @ Yale service.
