Finding archival materials beyond Yale

Center for Research Libraries (CRL)

The Center for Research Libraries is a major library consortium of which Yale is a member. You can request historical newspapers held by CRL via Interlibrary Loan, but keep in mind you will need to request these as soon as possible in order to allow time for the request to be processed and, if the materials are available, to leave time for the newspapers to arrive. The CRL Online Catalog is the starting point for locating relevant information. Some materials of historical interest held by CRL have been digitized and can be found through the Online Catalog as well.
