New-at-YSPH to-do list

Welcome to the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library! We have so many services, resources, and webpages that it's possible to get lost. This page is a simple guide to get you started as new affiliates at YSPH.

Support for teaching

  • A public health librarian can visit your class for a series or a one-off session, with lecture, discussion, demonstrations, and hands-on activities about literature searching; contact us to set up. Office hours, video tutorial, or webpage for your class? Sure, get in touch!
  • Course reserves service: we'll make it easy for your students to access their readings.
  • Textbook purchasing: this library is willing to buy anything you want to assign, if the publisher sells it to libraries.
