Anthropology: Research Guide: Getting Started

An introduction to resources for anthropological research at Yale

Upcoming Library Workshops

Welcome!

This guide will introduce you to conducting research in Anthropology at Yale and how the Library can help you. In this guide, you will discover resources that support your sociological research. You can find books (both print & electronic), journal articles, and primary source materials. There are also useful tools for organizing your research such as Zotero or EndNote.

Below are a couple of activities to help you refine and narrow your research topic. The first is a video explaining how to create a concept map for your topic, and the second is a worksheet to assist you in defining your topic as a research question.
