The Medical Historical Library at the Yale School of Medicine (333 Cedar St.) received the papers of Stephen E. Malawista, M.D. upon his death in 2013. Dr. Malawista was co-discoverer of Lyme Disease and was affiliated with the Yale School of Medicine for 50 years. The collection is on Lyme Disease and arthritis. In his collecting on Lyme Disease, Dr. Malawista was particularly interested in accounts in newspapers and the media although there are journal articles as well.
