Connect to: SciFinder
SciFinder is the comprehensive database for coverage of chemistry and chemical engineering. It has the world's largest collection of organic and inorganic substance information.
We now have access to the SciFinder Discovery Platform which includes Analytical Methods and Formulus. Registered SciFinder users can access the databases directly from these links:
Analytical Methods
CAS Analytical Methods makes it simple to locate, compare, and understand analytical methods from top journals and patents. Analytical Methods Quick Start Guide (PDF)
Formulus
CAS Formulus brings together supplier information to compare and contrast supplier offerings. Formulations are indexed from patents and journals, then CAS Formulus extracts information specific to the formulation to show details, explore specific ingredients, and view the source of the information. Formulus Quick Start Guide (PDF)
CAS SciFinder is the latest scientific information solution from CAS, a division of the American Chemical Society. In addition to the reference, substance, reaction and supplier content found in SciFinder web, CAS SciFinder includes relevance-ranked results, step-by-step procedures and protocols, citation mapping, biosequence searching, retrosynthetic analysis, patent landscape mapping, and touch-screen enabled structure drawing.
SciFinder is available for Yale students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, visiting scholars, and staff.
