Bloomberg Terminal Locations
1. Center for Science & Social Science Information
A Bloomberg terminal is available for Yale researchers at CSSSI. Reservations to use this terminal are now available.
Yale affiliates may reserve two hours of consecutive time on the terminal each day, up to two weeks in advance.
If the terminal is not reserved, walk-up use is permitted. Reservations are held for 10 minutes past the scheduled reservation time. After this time, the reservation will be considered forfeited and the terminal will be available.
2. School of Management - 199 Whitney
The Bloomberg Terminals at SOM have been relocated to Suite 1 of 199 Whitney Avenue to facilitate the Evans Hall 1st floor renovation work. SOM faculty, staff, and students have 24/7 access to the new location at 199 Whitney Avenue with their Yale ID card. The entrance to the Bloomberg Terminal Lab is at the back end of the parking lot, under the ProPT awning.
Use of Bloomberg terminals is for current Yale students, staff, and faculty only. A guest login cannot be used.
Yale University's access to Bloomberg does not include Bloomberg Anywhere or Bloomberg Professional for devices. Access is limited to the locations listed above.
Bloomberg requires all users to have individual accounts. To create yours, follow these steps:
1.Select the Create New Login option below the username and password fields.
2. Follow the instructions to set up the account.
Your work and mobile numbers can be the same. Use your Yale email address in the Corporate Email Address Field.
3. Keep your cell phone nearby – You will need to enter a confirmation number and can choose to receive this by text message or phone call. Bloomberg will verify the account with a text message/phone call before it is fully activated.
You will need this login each and everytime you use a Bloomberg terminal.
