The Graphic Novel Collection in Bass Library is located on the courtyard level across from the Library Services Desk. We invite students to use this collection for personal and academic use. We also strongly encourage students to browse the collection while taking a break from studying in Bass Library.

It is not the only collection of graphic novels at Yale Library. Rather it is a small collection of English-language titles of possible interest to undergraduate students. And while the collection includes some classic comics and graphic novels, the primary focus is to highlight lesser-known titles as well as titles that include diverse voices, such as Black, Indigenous, and people of color. 

Help us grow the collection

• Submit your a graphic novel, comic, or manga by or about a person of color to bit.ly/rrpyale, or
• Suggest any graphic novel, comic, or manga to add to the collection to library.yale.edu/form/purchase-request

If we do not already own a title that you recommend, we will consider it for purchase!
