Bass Library's Graphic Novel Collection: About the Collection

Why We Collect Graphic Novels

The Graphic Novel Collection in Bass Library is actively developed of primarily English-language graphic novels. It is not the only collection of graphic novels at Yale Library. And while the collection includes some classic comics and graphic novels, the primary focus is to highlight lesser-known titles as well as titles that include diverse voices, such as Black, Indigenous, and people of color. We invite students to use this collection for personal and academic use. We also strongly encourage students to browse the collection while taking a break from studying in Bass Library.

Help us grow the collection

If we do not already own a title that you recommend, we will consider it for purchase!
