Active Learning in Library Instruction: Home

Purpose

This guide is a collection of active learning exercises for library instruction. Assignments can be incorporated into a library instruction session, or used as part of research assignments in class.

If you are faculty interested in working with a librarian to develop assignments for your class, or if you would like to schedule a meeting to discuss further, please reach out to either Kelly Blanchat (kelly.blanchat@yale.edu) or Jennifer Snow (jennifer.l.snow@yale.edu), Instruction Librarians.

Librarians at Yale and beyond are welcome to use or adapt these lesson plans. No attribution required, unless for scholarship.
