Research Lifecycle Series: FAQ and Contact

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to register for workshops?

Yes. Often workshops are limited to Yale students, faculty, and staff and require a NetID, unless otherwise stated in the registration form.

Q: What if I can't find a workshop that fits my schedule?

If you can't find a workshop that fits your schedule, reach out to us (see contact information below). We might be able to add more workshops to the calendar. We can also connect you with your Personal Librarian or Subject Specialist Librarian for individual research support.

Q: Will workshops be virtual or in-person?

Most workshops will be held via Zoom. You will receive a link to the Zoom room after registering.

Q: Do I have to take all workshops in a track?

Nope! Depending upon where you are in your research process, you may find certain workshops more relevant than others. Please take as few or as many as you want!

Q: Why are you offering this series?

We wanted to give students the option of a group of workshops that can help from beginning to end of a research project.

Q: Who can I contact if I have more questions?

Questions about the Research Lifecycle Series can be directed to Jennifer Snow (jennifer.l.snow@yale.edu) or Kelly Blanchat (kelly.blanchat@yale.edu).
