Search Tips:

• Use Advanced Search
• Subject headings: 
  • LGBT Studies
  • Gender Studies
  • Gays AND Travel
  • Gay travelers
• Put multiple keywords in quotation marks to find as a phrase: "Gay travelers" AND "Key West"
• Look at the subjects within a record to find more books on the same topic

Using facets:

• After you type in keywords and hit "Search," facets are in the column on the left which allow for further refining of the search.
• Choose the disciplines that are of interest to you
• Limit your time period
• Select "Peer-reviewed publications only"
• Choose subject terms from the provided list
