Established in 2014, the Yale Online Exhibitions Committee, composed of staff from various parts of the Yale University Library, oversees the online exhibition program. Members of our committee support the creation of online exhibitions through training, one-on-one guidance, and other types of outreach. We are responsible for maintaining Omeka S, the digital platform for online exhibitions, including testing, updating, and advocating for features that our community requires. We encourage partnerships between the larger Yale community and Library staff to create online exhibitions based on Library resources. Our group is sponsored by the Yale University Library’s Special Collection Steering Committee, and reports to that group.
