Return your completed tour booklet (with at least 8 stickers collected from Yale's libraries) to the Bass Library service desk by 5 p.m. on Aug. 30, 2024.
Individual study rooms are highly sought-after study spaces in Bass Library! These are small study rooms with a table, chair(s), lighting, and outlets, suitable for one to two people. They are typically only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All current Yale students are eligible! When entering, you will be asked to submit your Yale Net ID for student status verification and for contact purposes, should you win the prize.
The prize winner will need to sign a Terms & Conditions before receiving the key to the study room.
Before visiting any library on the self-guided tour, check library hours on the library website at library.yale.edu/visit-and-study.
Only 1 entry per person is allowed.
We would love it if you visited more than 8 locations! That said, you only need to collect a sticker from at least 8 libraries to be entered to win, and additional stickers will not count for additional prize entries.
A librarian will contact one student via their @yale.edu email on Tues., Sept. 3, 2024.
Be sure to check your spam folder!
If a library is out of stickers, they will provide a special signature in lieu of a sticker.
If you are a library that has run out of stickers, please contact kelly.blanchat@yale.edu.
Tour booklets will be available primarily at Bass Library and Sterling Memorial Library, with some additional booklets at Haas Arts Library, Marx Library, Divinity Library, and the Music Library.
Tour booklets will not available at Beinecke Library, DH Lab, Yale Film Archive, Classics Library, Yale Center for British Art, and Lewis Walpole Library.
If you are a library that has run out of tour booklets, please contact kelly.blanchat@yale.edu.
Information about each library's physical accessibility is available at web.library.yale.edu/services-persons-disabilities#pai.
