The Video Tutorial Immersion Program is an eight-part immersion series featuring in-person, asynchronous, and online components. The application process ensures that attendees are invested in the program. Applications will not require previous experience with video editing, but they will require that participants have a video idea or concept. All participants who complete the program will have a finished video tutorial, as well as the knowledge and skills to produce more in the future!
Part 1, June 26-27: From idea to storyboard (hybrid)

By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
1. Describe standards and guidelines that inform the tutorial creation process, such as online pedagogy, accessibility, writing for the web
2. Develop 1-3 learning objectives
3. Write an engaging, succinct storyboard and script
4. Record and edit audio files
5. Create visuals from multiple inputs (screencasts, slide decks, animations)
6. Generate closed captions
7. Combine video, audio and other visuals to create a 1-3 minute video
8. Export video content and upload to a hosting service
