Video tutorial considerations

Take time to write down your video tutorial intentions. Then using those intentions consider: does this video tutorial already exist and what is the value of creating a new video?

  1. What is your video idea or topic:
  2. Who is your audience?:
  3. Using Bloom's Taxonomy (linked above), write your 1-2 learning objectives using the structure: "By the end of this video, viewers will be able to...":
  4. On YouTube or around the web, find a video tutorial similar to yours (in topic, purpose, audience, etc.) .
  • What is one thing this video does well?
  • What is one thing this video could do better?
