The best way to search for materials on Quebec and French Canada is to use the library catalogs, Orbis or Quicksearch.  Orbis' "advanced search" allows for good filtered searches, but it does not allow you to search Yale Law School's large collection. Quicksearch allows for all of Yale's collections to be searched in one place, including the law school's materials.  Additionally, Quicksearch provides better keyword searching capabilities and also searches many of our electronic databases at the same time.  It is especially good when you are at the beginning of your project or trying to get a handle on what is available at Yale.  

You should search for "Quebec" as a subject AND words like "sources," "diaries," "correspondence," "interviews," "personal narratives," or "pamphlets."
