Music Library Services for Faculty: Course Reserves

Services and resources, aimed at Yale faculty

Overview

Print materials (books and scores) along with recordings and video from our general collection may be placed on reserve in the Music Library or other libraries.

Book chapters and articles may also be placed on e-reserve.

Additionally, CDs and other digitized recordings, both from our general and special collections, may be placed on online streaming reserve, and we can also arrange for recordings available only in older formats to be digitized for course reserves.

All course reserve requests are placed through Canvas.

Questions may be directed to Zachary Haas.

Online Resources

The library subscribes to a number of online streaming audio and video databases. Hyperlinks (stable URLs) within the databases may be added to your syllabus.

The library also subscribes to many textual databases, online journals, and ebooks.  Many of these can be found in the guides below or through Quicksearch.

If you encounter problems in using databases, you may direct questions to suzanne.lovejoy@yale.edu.
