Continuing Medical Education (CME) Resources: NatMed Pro (Natural Medicines)

This guide is to help clinicians, staff, and researchers at Yale find information about CME resources made available to them through the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library at Yale.

About NatMed PRO (Natural Medicines)

NatMed provides resources about thousands of natural medicines, including herbs, dietary supplements, sports supplements, minerals, and vitamins. It was created by the research and editorial staff at the Therapeutic Research Center, a team of pharmacists, physicians, dietitians, and pharmacologists, whose mission it is to provide completely independent and objective analysis of drug therapy information.

How to earn and redeem CME credits in NatMed Pro (Natural Medicines)

  1. Create a CE ID account (note: once you have an account you can view your course history and print statements)
  2. Click on a course or report to get practical evidence-based information on using natural medicines for specific conditions and other topics. Each course and report provide accredited continuing education (CE/CME) for physicians, pharmacists, NPs, PAs, and RDs, unless otherwise noted.
