About the Wolfe Collection

Excerpted from John Jacob Wolfe papers (MS 1682) Finding Aid:

John Jacob Wolfe received degrees from the Royal Dental Hospital (London University) in 1923, from Columbia University in 1925, and from Yale Medical School in 1933. He was an instructor at the School of Dentistry, New York University, from 1927-1928; chief of the dental clinic at Peiping Union Medical School from 1932-1935; and then entered private practice.

The papers consist of correspondence and printed material collected by John and Esther Wolfe during their wartime stay in Bikaner, India, in the early 1940s.

This collection has not been digitized.
