Featured Resources

ASM Handbooks
Authoritative source of information on ferrous and non-ferrous metals and materials technologies. Includes twenty-eight ASM Handbook volumes and several ASM Handbook supplements.

ASM Materials Platform for Data Science (MPDS)
MPDS is the world’s largest and most comprehensive repository of inorganic materials data comprised of phase diagrams, crystal structures, and physical properties. All of the phase diagrams are redrawn to a consistent format by members of the Pauling File team. The phase diagrams are presented in the atomic percent scale. The platform contains more than 73,000 phase diagrams, with linkages to crystal data and physical property data.

Knovel Material Property Search
Finds numeric data in handbooks, manuals, and databases. Searches thousands of materials and substances (metals, polymers, ceramics, chemicals, etc.) and more than 100 properties (physical, thermodynamic, electrical, corrosion, toxicity, etc.)

SciFinder
Comprehensive database of chemical substances.

Scopus
Scopus is multidisciplinary database that covers science, technology, and medicine. Cited references are included from 1970.

Smithells Metals Reference Book
Key apsects of metallic materials.

SpringerMaterials
Curated physical and chemical data in materials science, including access to the Landolt-Börnstein series on numerical data and functional relationships in science and technology.
