Southeast Asia Collection: Southeast Asia Reading Room

An introduction Yale's resources on Southeast Asia.

Reserving the Southeast Asia Seminar Room

Southeast Asian Reading Room

The Southeast Asia Reading Room is located in Sterling Memorial Library, Room 214. While the room is open to all Yale faculty, students, and staff, the room is designed to promote and support research in Southeast Asian Studies by holding a large part of the Library's reference materials on Southeast Asia, including Atlases, Bibliographies, and Dictionaries. We are gradually expanding this collection and suggestions are welcome.  The reading room is down the hall from Brent Bianchi's office (213C), who has joined as Librarian for South and Southeast Asian Studies in Autumn 2022, and is available for consultations. Fell free to drop by or schedule the room for class meetings through the link on the left.

The current holdings of the Southeast Asia Reading Room are listed here.

Lists of major Atlases, Bibliographies, and Dictionaries in the Reading Room are also available.
