Welcome! In this guide you will find selected major resources western and South Asian languages that will help you begin your research across subjects in South Asian Studies. At Yale University Library, South Asia includes the peoples, languages, and lands included in the following modern states:

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka
