Agnieszka Kurant (1978) is a conceptual artist originally from Łódź, Poland. She has worked in a wide variety of mediums including installation, sculpture, and film. After studying at the University of Łódź, she obtained a Master's in curating from Goldsmiths College in London. Her works often focus on the theme of instability, and she often seeks to blur the line between fact and fiction by creating imaginary locations, information systems, facts, and realities. Kurant currently lives and works in New York City.
