Artist Biography

Andrea Modica

Andrea Modica (1960) is a photographer. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Modica earned her BFA from the State University of New York College at Purchase in 1982. She then earned her MFA from Yale University in 1985. Modica is known for her portraits and for her use of platinum printing. She currently resides in Philadelphia, where she is a professor of photography at Drexel University.
