Artist Biography

Photograph of Raymond MeeksRaymond Meeks (1963) is a photographer whose works often explore the topics of memory and place. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Meeks now lives and works in New York in the Hudson Valley. In college at Ohio State University, Meeks studied social anthropology. He has since produced numerous photobooks and served as a visiting artist and lecturer at institutions such as the University of Nebraska, Bard College, and the Rhode Island School of Design.
