John Pilson (1968) is a photographer and video artist. In 1991 he earned his BFA from Sarah Lawrence College. He then earned his MFA in 1993 from Yale University. Upon graduating from Yale he worked as a graphic designer at Merrill Lynch until 2000. The office space in which he worked inspired many of his early works. Pilson became a faculty member at Yale University in 2001 and is currently senior critic in photography.
